The team at Mistral have had a busy and successful year. We are looking forward to a well-earned rest over the Christmas break, when we close our offices between December 22nd to 2nd January 2024. If you have any urgent requirements, please call your Regional Sales Manager or email Freddie Fuller at email@example.com
For the second Christmas running, Mistral Group is donating to OnSide, our chosen charity, rather than sending Christmas gifts. We are proud to support a charity that assists young people in some of the most deprived parts of the country. This year we donated £5,000 to Onside and this provides 2,500 free hot meals for young people as part of our Winter Hunger Appeal – so that’s pretty amazing! Freddie Fuller presented the cheque to Patti Holmes of OnSide.
OnSide’s CEO Jamie Masraff thanked Mistral, saying;
“A massive thanks to the Mistral team who have supported young people this Christmas through OnSide’s Winter Hunger Appeal 2023. Too many families are facing impossible choices between spending their limited resources on heating their homes or feeding their families, especially in areas of deprivation where Youth Zones operate. Thanks to your generous £5,000 donation we can provide 2,500 free meals to young people across OnSide’s Youth Zone Network during the winter months. This kicks off a significant campaign goal to provide 50,000 meals between now and April 2024. We know the team are forgoing some of their Christmas activities to make this happen, so we hope the difference you are making will give you that festive cheer! Thanks for all the support you have given us over the years – come and visit a Youth Zone whenever you can.”
OnSide’s mission is to empower young people to lead positive, fulfilling lives by providing access to incredible spaces and exceptional youth work, delivered by outstanding people, where they are needed the most.
To achieve this, OnSide has built a national network of ‘Youth Zones’ in the UK’s most economically disadvantaged areas. Youth Zones are state-of-the-art, multi-million-pound facilities that give young people a safe space to learn, play, eat, dance, act, and much more.
These facilities are staffed by skilled and dedicated youth workers who truly believe in young people – helping them see what they could achieve, and giving them the skills, confidence and ambition to go for it.
